Our story
Woven slowly, by hand, in Seongsu
We wind every warp by hand and weave on two old floor looms, using wool and linen we dye ourselves in small vats.
We opened this studio in a quiet corner of Seongsu-dong because we wanted a place where cloth could be made without hurry. Every tapestry, every rug, and every length of cloth that leaves the studio has been woven by hand, from winding the warp to tying off the final fringe. Nothing here is power-loomed, and nothing leaves the studio before it's right.
The workshop runs on a simple belief: making things with your hands is good for you. The rhythm of the loom slows you down, it teaches patience, and it leaves you with something honest and lasting at the end. That's true whether you've been weaving for twenty years or you're threading a heddle for the very first time. So alongside our own work, we keep the doors open for small workshops — because the studio feels most alive when every loom is in use.
Everything you see in the gallery below was woven in this room, on these looms, with materials we've chosen to age well over the years: undyed wool and linen with a good weight and hand, plant-dyed yarns in soft, living colours, and cotton warp spun for strength. Prices for finished pieces start around ₩50,000 for smaller work and vary with size and fibre — get in touch and we'll tell you what's currently available.

You leave every workshop with something you wove yourself, finished and ready to hang or use. No waiting — it comes off the loom with you.
Beginners welcome
Most of our workshops assume no experience at all. If you've never sat at a loom, this is exactly where you should start.
